About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Highly Specialist Antimicrobial and OPAT Pharmacist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on antimicrobial therapy and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship programs to optimize antibiotic use and reduce resistance
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare professionals on antimicrobial therapy and OPAT
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with antimicrobial guidelines and policies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care pathways
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines on antimicrobial therapy and OPAT
Person Specification

We are looking for a pharmacist with a strong background in antimicrobial therapy and OPAT, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
