Proactive Personnel Ltd is recruiting for LGV mechanics and HGV technicians to work on local authority sites in Derbyshire, with a focus on Chesterfield.
We are seeking experienced mechanics who can perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, with specific dealership experience considered advantageous.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on local authority vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
A Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics or a similar qualification is required.
The role offers a 37-hour week, no weekends, £15.25 per hour, and a market-leading pension and employment package.
