Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively promote SHEQ best practices across projects, identifying practical measures to improve overall performance.
  • Work with operational management teams to implement SHEQ standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and client requirements.
  • Provide expert occupational health and safety advice to project management, supervisors, and workforce.
  • Assist with formal accident and incident investigations, and undertake site safety tours and inspections.
  • Support operations, conducting safety stand-downs and focused briefings.
  • Provide projects with Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental direction, ensuring the business discharges its legal duty.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an Infrastructure SHEQ Advisor role.
  • Recognised occupational health and safety qualifications, such as IOSH membership.
  • Environmentally qualified, with membership of IEMA (desirable).
  • Detailed knowledge of rail and civil engineering interfaces and practices.
  • CSCS card.
