Opportunity Description

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled and dedicated General Supply Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in Sheffield. As a General Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality education when the regular classroom teacher is unavailable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, along with relevant teaching experience. A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement teaching strategies to accommodate diverse classroom settings and cater to varying student needs.
  • Implement school policies and procedures to maintain consistency and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students to enhance their academic and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and smooth transitions.
