Experis, a leading recruitment agency, has partnered with a prominent Engineering company to find skilled Stress Engineers for a significant project. If you have experience in stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis using complex finite element and classical book calculation methods, and support testing
  • Conduct heat transfer analysis in practice and theory, including analytical correlations and complex finite element methods, and related topics in thermodynamics, single and multi-phase flows, and energy systems
  • Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones
  • Offer technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Validate requirements
  • Ensure project and product compliance
  • Manage risk
  • Develop processes
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Essential Experience:

  • Performing thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, and/or other similar components and systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in all modes of heat transfer, thermodynamics, thermal sciences, and two-phase thermophysics
  • Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses
