Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term contract basis with a leading offshore installation contractor. You will have the ability to work on a hybrid setup of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and be responsible for structural analysis tasks by means of modeling in company standard structural analysis software.
  • Perform detailed design calculations in accordance with companies current requirements and the latest Industry Codes and Standards.
  • Review/comment and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design.
  • Prepare high-quality Design Reports and maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BEng, MEng, MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant offshore energy industry experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Structural Engineering.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team.
  • Good command of written and verbal English.
