Audiologist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team, offering a rewarding opportunity to deliver diagnostic audiology services to NHS patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic audiology procedures, including audiograms, tympanograms, and pure tone air/bone conduction tests.
  2. Refer patients to ENT specialists when necessary, following clinical pathways.
  3. Communicate effectively with referring GPs to ensure coordinated care.
  4. Work alongside local Audiology/ENT services and secondary care clinicians to improve patient care pathways.
  5. Participate in governance systems, audits, and service improvement initiatives.
  6. Support ongoing professional development through training and learning opportunities.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience in audiology.
  • Ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree.
  • Skilled in conducting diagnostic hearing tests and clinical assessments.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
