Job Title: Methods Engineer

Framatome Limited is seeking a highly skilled Methods Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a Methods Engineer, you will play a critical role in the preparation and follow-up of all Construction Work in the scope of Framatome Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Design Package to be installed on site, liaising with the Design Office, the Site, the Client, and other relevant departments of Framatome Limited. You will have a primary role in defining the Site Activities methodology (installation and/or erection) and ensuring the required Temporary Works associated are completed and validated prior to Construction Work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of comprehensive documentation for internal approval and customer acceptance.
  • Maintenance of an auditable configuration system for Design and Method.
  • Liaison and coordination with relevant stakeholders to obtain requirements and specificities prior to Construction Work.
  • Organisation of presentations and production/check of documentation prior to Site Activities.
  • Acting as Temporary Works Coordinator to define and specify relevant Temporary Work, its category, and following its development in support of Site Activities.
  • Ensuring all contributing stakeholders are given the right level of input for their own production.

Requirements:

  • Engineering process knowledge and assurance.
  • Mechanical and Structural Engineering degree.
  • Temporary Work knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings.
  • Writing technical and non-technical documentation.

Desirable:

  • Eurocode 2 & 3.
  • The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Construction Work in Nuclear (or heavily regulated industry).
  • BS 5975: 2019.
