About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering designs for buildings from concept to completion, achieving outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design low-energy, sustainable mechanical systems
  • Lead on building physics analysis for projects
  • Undertake calculations for design basis
  • Produce design drawings and participate in report preparation
  • Engage with specialists to integrate and coordinate systems
  • Monitor progress on site and lead during commissioning and handover
  • Supervise and mentor graduate and assistant engineers
  • Develop relationships with architects and clients to grow the business
About You

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:

  • CEng - Chartered member of a professional institution or working towards
  • 4+ years' experience in a Mechanical Building Services role
  • BEng/MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant subject
  • Knowledge and experience in sustainable and low-carbon projects
  • Fervent interest in responding to the climate emergency
  • Competent user of design software such as Autocad and Revit
  • Non-essential but beneficial experience using IES, PHPP, and SAP
  • Ability to work well within a team, both internally and externally
