Senior Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Connexzia. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the room leader in leading the room, motivating the team, and stepping up in the room leader's absence.
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the setting facility.
  • Keep developmental records for your key group up to date.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Develop an attractive and stimulating range of equipment, activities, and displays.
  • Maintain confidentiality on matters relating to work within the setting.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Support the management team in meeting Ofsted standards, including EYFS.
  • Strive to deliver an outstanding setting.
Requirements:
  • A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years.
  • Previous experience in an early years setting.
  • Ability to be a positive role model for your team.
  • Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment.
  • Good ICT skills.
  • A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate.
