Job Title: Support Worker - Housing

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our housing team at Vibe Recruit. The successful candidate will work closely with clients aged 18 and over, providing support to manage tenancies, prevent homelessness, or tenancy failure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Support: Assist clients in managing debts and accessing benefits.
  • Accommodation Assistance: Help clients find alternative housing and support them in setting up new tenancies.
  • Utility Coordination: Coordinate with gas, water, and electricity providers to ensure seamless transitions and continued service.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of clients, conducting risk assessments and providing tailored housing support and advice.
  • Community Integration: Encourage and support clients to engage with and integrate into their local communities.
Requirements:
  • Resilience and Compassion: A strong commitment to working with vulnerable individuals and a positive attitude towards personal resilience.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different projects and client groups.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of explaining complex issues clearly to clients, colleagues, and managers.
Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum
