We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Waking Night Attendant. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our young people with Autism, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work closely with the residential team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and domestic duties.
  • Support our young people to maintain their personal cleanliness, general hygiene, and appearance.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, young people, and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential care setting, preferably with young people with Autism.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use care management software.
