We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered General Nurse to join our Acute Cardiology team at Wycombe Hospital. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cardiology and possess excellent teamwork skills.

About the Role
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing care needs and developing/implementing evaluation programs of care.
  • They will carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision, maintaining a high standard of nursing care within Trust policies and NMC guidelines.
  • Additionally, they will teach qualified and unqualified staff, including pre-registered and post-basic students.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with cardiology experience, although we also welcome applications from newly qualified nurses who demonstrate a drive to learn.

Key Requirements
  • Awareness of professional scope of practice and DoH guidance on clinical governance
  • Able to manage own caseload with supervision
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills
  • Experience of teaching students, HCAs, and qualified staff
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
