Sustainability Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Sustainability Specialist to join our team in CV Library. The successful candidate will have a passion for sustainable and responsible business practices and a solid understanding of the ESG regulatory landscape.

In this role, you will contribute to building momentum for our net-zero targets by supporting the delivery of specific aspects of our decarbonisation plan. You will also gather, check, and present data for annual and ad-hoc reporting, including GHG emissions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex data and producing valuable insights. They will also have a focus on quality and attention to detail, as well as experience using ESG data platforms and tools to create and manage internal KPI dashboards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Decarbonisation Support: Support the delivery of specific aspects of our decarbonisation plan.
  2. Data Management: Gather, check, and present data for annual and ad-hoc reporting, including GHG emissions.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Manage third parties and internal stakeholders in preparation for audits and external assurance.
  4. Collaboration and Data Insights: Collaborate with wellbeing, social mobility, citizenship, and equity experts, as well as core business functions, to ensure quality data and tracking.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Understand progress by maturing non-financial data capability to gain better insights into sustainability ambitions and goals.
  6. Process Governance: Establish rigorous processes and governance around data with financial and programme management teams.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
