Year 2 Educator Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Educator to join our team at Academics. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to Year 2 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting improvement targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learners' needs.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and commitment to staying current with educational practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
