We are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC/HMI design and commissioning, with experience in programming PLCs in structured text and use of servo motion in PLC programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying, designing, programming, and maintaining control systems, including PLC, HMIs, network, and drives. They will also be involved in upgrading existing systems with new automation solutions and designing electrical projects to customer specifications.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Specifying, designing, programming, and maintaining control systems
- Upgrading existing systems with new automation solutions
- Designing electrical projects to customer specifications
- Carrying out installation and commissioning of new, bespoke automation solutions
- Sourcing and specifying appropriate components
The ideal candidate will have formal engineering qualifications, such as a HNC or above, and a strong background in PLC/HMI design and commissioning. Experience in programming PLCs in structured text and use of servo motion in PLC programs is required.
