Job Summary:

Eden Brown is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team in a Building Services consultancy. As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading electrical design, engineering, and documentation projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
  • Lead design teams and mentor junior members of staff
  • Ensure compliance with British electrical standards and project constraints
  • Manage project administration and documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in electrical design engineering
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design and construction perspective
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of key engineering software packages such as Dialux, Relux, Amtech, and Navisworks
