HSW Compliance Manager

About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Dyer & Butler. As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors and clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Train and educate employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain effective risk assessments and method statements.
- Communicate with clients to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and obligations under health and safety legislation.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or certification in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines (e.g., COSHH, RIDDOR, CDM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
