Senior Maintenance Technician

As a Senior Maintenance Technician with ECS Resource Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing facility in Loughborough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £46K-£49K per annum, inclusive of shift premium.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing waste and increasing productivity.
- Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and replacements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance maintenance strategies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a maintenance or technical role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical principles, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, as required.
