Job Summary:
AMC Insurance Appointments Ltd is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Outwards Reinsurance department, you will be responsible for managing contract data capture and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Reinsurance Purchasing Team to ensure accurate and timely data capture of complex global reinsurance contracts.
- Manage the calculation and submission of regulatory returns, working closely with Finance and Purchasing Teams.
- Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with sanctions and embargoes rules.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including OWRI Placement team, Underwriting & Claims departments, brokers, and internal/external clients to resolve queries.
- Coordinate sample gathering for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Regulatory reporting experience and good reinsurance knowledge & experience.
- London market company and Lloyd's Syndicate experience preferred.
- Ability to challenge existing procedures & use of systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Index/Match etc).
- Experience of systems such as ELGAR, IRIS, GENIUS, Alteryx, PowerBI would be highly beneficial.
