We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holt Engineering, a world-leading company in the aerospace industry.

This role involves working on a double days shift pattern, with one week from 6am-2pm and the following week from 2pm-10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets, including moulds, power presses, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and ancillary equipment.
  • Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares are not available, through retrofitting, reverse engineering, or modifying equipment.
  • Working in line with maintenance best practices and adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance call-outs and maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs.
  • Assisting in outage planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Supervising contracted labour when on site and supporting and mentoring apprentices.

Requirements:

  • A time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical engineering field.
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC-controlled plant, and associated equipment.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving production environment.
  • Willingness to undertake additional specific plant training.
