Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Carbon60 in Bristol. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate estimates for design and build projects, including large and complex schemes.

  • Develop detailed estimates for electrical projects, including prime cost estimates and value engineering proposals.
  • Utilize Trimble Contract Master for preparing estimates and maintain accurate records of tenders submitted.
  • Interface with the Estimating manager and work winning/procurement operations teams to ensure timely and professional communication.
  • Manage client and key stakeholder requests, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of electrical projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Electrical Estimator role, with knowledge of electrical installations ranging from 230V to 11kV.
  • Main switchgear and subdistribution experience, as well as background in LV cable installation and jointing works.
  • Broad understanding of electrical project requirements and accurate vetting of quotations from supply chain partners.
  • Staff management and delivery team experience, with a strong understanding of testing and commissioning principles.
