About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate Director Water Scientist/Hydrologist to join our Water Environment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing technical expertise in hydrology and water science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Provide technical expertise in hydrology and water science, including water quality studies and hydrological reviews
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex water environment challenges
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Manage and train junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (geography, physical sciences, engineering, etc.)
  • Proficiency in hydrological software and environmental modeling
  • Experience in technical project delivery, including bid preparation and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
