Job Role Overview

At Blue Arrow Ltd, we're currently seeking a skilled Collection and Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of parcels and packages to our customers.

About the Role

As a Collection and Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

• 
  
• Collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses, using local knowledge and experience of multi-drop deliveries to optimize your route
  
• Scanning parcels on and off route to ensure accurate tracking information is available to customers and colleagues
  
• Performing safety checks on your vehicle before leaving the depot
  
• Enjoying customer interaction and providing excellent customer service
  
• Working flexibly, including occasional Saturdays, to meet the needs of our customers
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 
  
• A full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points (ideally a clean license)
  
• Your driving license must cover vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes (Category B1)
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless interactions with customers and colleagues
  
• Ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
  
• Flexibility to work overtime, including possible Saturday overtime
