As a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and mentoring Grad /AQS's, you will be responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain. Managing projects from award through to final accounts, reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations, assisting with change and managing variations.

An opportunity has come available within a growing regional team, for a leading Main & Regional Contractor. Due to continued growth in established markets and expansion into new areas, they are looking to expand their established Commercial team covering the North and East of England, areas include;

With over 30 years' experience operating throughout the UK, they provide a comprehensive range of Civil engineering & Infrastructure solutions (minor & major civils work, highways and infrastructure).

The Role

  • To be successful, you will have Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification and experience, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure experience, Previous Main Contracting and/or Sub-Contractor experience, NEC contract experience, Sub-contract procurement and management experience and Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience.

Key Experience:

You will need to have a degree qualified in quantity surveying or other relevant qualification and experience, with civil engineering and infrastructure experience, previous main contracting and sub-contractor experience, nec contract experience, sub-contract procurement and management experience and financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience.

This role is based in the West Midlands and requires travel to sites across the North and East of England, including the East Midlands and North East regions. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects and will receive a salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
