MET Technician

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new team in High Wycombe. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and performing inspections and diagnostic work.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs to a high standard.
- Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop, ensuring all necessary components are removed and stored safely.
- Conduct thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and repair issues.
- Order replacement parts and reassemble vehicles with new parts as required.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MET Technician who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to plan your workload, work safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
You will be working as part of a team, but also be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility and a commitment to high standards are essential. You must also be able to ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.
Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a change to work in a body shop.
