Supporting Children with SEND in Devon

We are searching for a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team in providing support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the education and well-being of students who require additional support.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic nature, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences. As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to design and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist students with daily living tasks and provide emotional support as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
