Higher Level Teaching Assistant | Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable Primary School in Tower Hamlets, London.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK University and previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a child-centered role.

This is a full-time, term-time only position, commencing in September and running until the end of the academic year, with opportunities to qualify as a teacher and gain QTS.

The role offers a competitive salary of £480-£500 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant | Job Role
  • Supervise students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to promote progression and support the class teacher in planning learning activities.
  • Work with students in KS1 & KS2, with opportunities to cover the class and build good relationships with students of varied levels.
  • Be professional, committed to the role, and have great time management skills.
