Job Title: Advanced Apprentice - Non-Destructive Testing Engineering Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Non-Destructive Testing Engineering Technician Apprentice. This role will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive training program, leading to a certification in NDT Level 2 in accordance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Non-Destructive Testing related projects, including preparation of NDT written instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct supervised testing of munitions component parts using recognized NDT methods.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics teams to tackle production issues effectively.
  • Support the development and installation of new equipment to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Participate in awareness training and knowledge improvement in NDT, ensuring effective liaison with specialist external test facilities as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science or Technical Subject.
