Head Resourcing is seeking an experienced IT trainer to join a leading charity dedicated to preserving Scotland's natural and cultural heritage. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training programs to diverse audiences, including end-users, administrators, and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and analysis of job functions to identify training requirements.
- Develop and deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and video tutorials to meet the specific needs of end-users.
- Customize training programs to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up training as needed to ensure training objectives are met.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software training with a proven track record of delivering training programs.
- Demonstrable experience in creating training materials, including videos, and delivering training both face-to-face and remotely.
- Strong experience in working with contractors and 3rd party providers.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Edinburgh with some travel to other sites. A driver's license is ideal but not essential. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £40k and the opportunity to work with a leading charity dedicated to preserving Scotland's natural and cultural heritage.
