We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our Data Platform Engineering team at Ebury, a leading fintech company based in London.

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum

Ebury's data platform is built on Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, Docker, dbt, Looker, and Synq. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our data platform to support our analytics and ML initiatives.

You will work closely with data analysts and other engineering teams to ensure our data platform is scalable, secure, and efficient. Your responsibilities will include establishing performance monitoring, participating in data modelling reviews, implementing data governance policies, and automating data ingestion and transformation processes.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.">
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.">
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (a plus)">
  • Familiarity with dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts.">
  • Basic understanding of data governance practices">
  • Experience with software engineering practices in data">
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality">
  • Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)">
