About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our rearing unit in Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring bird welfare standards are maintained, monitoring farm conditions, and managing staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the farm operates within agreed standards for bird welfare, ventilation, heating, feed, water, litter, and lighting.
- Control access to the farm, ensuring work is conducted to required specifications and quality while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage weekend staff and maintain a flexible approach to working hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with livestock and a proven track record in agriculture.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license due to the rural location.
- Compliance with all assurance schemes.
