Job Title: Policy Director

PACDC is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Policy Team in advancing a focused policy and advocacy agenda to expand and preserve resources for affordable homes and community development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policy strategies to support community development corporations and promote equitable neighborhood revitalization.
  • Expand and coordinate member and ally involvement in advocacy and public education efforts.
  • Build relationships with public officials and advocacy organizations to support policy and advocacy activities.
  • Monitor and analyze policies, programs, and legislation impacting community development.
  • Conduct research, write reports, and develop public education materials to support advocacy efforts.
Requirements:
  • At least eight years of experience in community development, community organizing, or related work.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, advocacy campaigns, and grassroots organizing.
  • Familiarity with Philadelphia housing and neighborhood economic development programs, policy issues, and politics.
  • Strong computer skills.
