Role: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Red Kite Waste. As a key member of the SHEQ department, you will be responsible for providing support to the EHS Manager with a focus on environmental compliance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead environmental management and compliance audits, including report writing and tracking of corrective actions.
  • Oversee environmental permit reporting and Environmental Agency (EA) notifications.
  • Management of waste auditors.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an individual with a strong background in environmental compliance and energy management. You will have experience in waste management or a production/manufacturing environment. A WAMITAB / COTC level 4 Treatment and Transfer qualification is essential. Ideal candidates may also hold a Transport CPC or have understanding of transport compliance.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers a range of benefits, including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, and travel expenses.
