Actuarial Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Pricing Specialist to join our team at Rapid Administration Services Pty Ltd. As an Actuarial Pricing Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the development of sustainable service and pricing models to secure the future of our business.

• Develop and maintain operational cost models for labour, capital, and overheads, adapting them as inputs change over time.
• Develop cost models for subcontractor and labour hire, keeping them updated with an eye on legislative changes.
• Create and refine pricing models that balance all cost inputs with margin goals for Core Transport Solutions.
• Track milestones, calculate rate adjustments, and notify management of required actions for Contract Management.
• Lead and support the introduction of new pricing-related software for New Software Rollouts.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing review calendar for Rapid Haulage and Rapid Refrigeration customers, as well as specific contracts, for Annual Price Reviews.
• Assist in identifying necessary data and calculating relevant cost inputs for new projects, evaluate proposed pricing for new business opportunities, and monitor performance against pricing assumptions for projects valued over $200k annually for New Business & Project Pricing.
• Develop comprehensive models to measure profitability and set prices based on direct and indirect cost inputs for Innovative Pricing Models.

This is a tremendous opportunity to learn about and influence a broad and highly successful logistics business. We are looking for a recent graduate with limited experience or someone who has completed part-time studies while active in the workforce. While we don't expect you to have firsthand experience in transport and logistics, it is more important that you are able to demonstrate the questioning skills, process mapping, and analytical skills needed to be successful.
