Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to support the development and implementation of research data management services. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to strengthen RDM skills, identify and make available subject-specific methods and standards, and provide technical services for the storage, publication, organization, and documentation of digital research data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web services, including websites, wikis, and online learning tools
  • Participate in the support of data stewards in network universities
  • Network with Lower Saxony and throughout Germany
  • Prepare handouts and collect best practices
  • Provide technical advice and training on tools and services
  • Coordinate and implement existing and new development of central services, technical tools, and services
Requirements:
  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's/Diploma) or comparable qualification in a data-related field
  • Experience in dealing with content management systems and electronic administrative work
  • Knowledge of FDM and data management an advantage
  • Language skills in German and English that enable fluent oral and written communication
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs
