About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Management Director to join our team at Maxim Recruitment, a leading construction consultancy based in Sheffield, Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • As a Construction Management Director, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects, managing client relationships, and providing expert advice on commercial and contractual matters.
  • You will work closely with the Managing Director to develop business strategies, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Your expertise will be essential in resolving complex disputes and negotiations with clients and contractors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of postgraduate experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including NEC and JCT.
  • Experience in managing variations and changes, as well as formal dispute resolution processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary up to £120k (dependent on experience), plus a car allowance, pension, discretionary bonus, and support towards further qualifications.
