English Path is a rapidly growing, global English language school that empowers students of all ages through language learning and cultural experiences. Our curriculum is designed to enhance English language skills and facilitate immersion into the local culture.
We are looking for an English Language Educator to join our team. As an EFL instructor, you will be responsible for engaging students in the learning process to ensure learner outcomes are maximised. You will teach English courses, including General English, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation, Business, Finance and EAP/ESP.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in English Language schools in multilingual classrooms. You will have a structured and creative approach to lesson planning and be highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
We offer a full induction and regular training to support your development as an EFL instructor. You will also have the opportunity to help develop materials and documents, test students and plan and/or lead social programme activities and CPD sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver and assess student work, appropriate to the course and to the type of students
- Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
- Have regular meetings with an Academic Manager to set objectives and measure progress towards those objectives
- Attend monthly CPD sessions and DELTA qualified teachers will be asked to run development or training sessions as required
- Help provide emotional and pastoral care for all students and promote their mental and physical wellbeing at all times
- Effectively manage classroom management and student behaviour
Requirements:
- CELTA/CertTesol, DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent at Master's level desired
- Demonstrable experience for similar courses in English Language schools
- Excellent English language knowledge and an in-depth understanding of teaching methodology in a multi-lingual environment essential
