Principal Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Belcan. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design of products through all development phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze electronics packaging, including thermal, vibration, and stress dynamics.
  • Utilize CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and FEA tools (Ansys preferred) for detailed design and simulations.
  • Manage thermal management design, precision machining, and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
  • Present engineering design reviews to customers and the executive team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum of 9 years of industry experience in electronics packaging design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in working with electronics assemblies and PCBAs.
  • Experience with CNC manufacturing and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
