Personal Care Assistant

Main Responsibilities
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, and comfort at all times. This will include assisting with hygiene, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors. Effective communication, initiative, and flexibility are essential skills for this role.

Package Details:
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Accountabilities:
Your focus as Resident Support Specialist will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
You will assist residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect for individuals at all times. You will also recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate identified risks in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality. Additionally, you will practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
