Class 2 Driver Job Description

Savanna Staff Solutions Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering plastic items to fabricators and businesses across the south of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre and post journey vehicle checks
  • Delivery of plastics to fabricators and businesses
  • Correct completion of paperwork

Requirements:

  • UK licence Category C (Class 2) minimum 1 year with some on-road experience
  • Current DQC CPC card and Digi Tachograph card with knowledge of manual entry
  • Reliable and able to work on your own unsupervised to get the job done
  • Good communicable English written and spoken

This is a 13-week temp to perm role, after which you will be taken on full-time with all the perks of full employment, including pension contributions, holiday pay, and job security. The basic pay is £32,000.00 per annum, with plenty of overtime available and an end-of-year bonus, making it closer to £35K or more.
