Job Title: Shift Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Shift Maintenance Specialist to join Hunter Selection in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and quality
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase output
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall performance
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong educational background in engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
