We focus on both application workload migration and data migrations into platforms engineered on GCP.

Role Overview:
As a Data & AI Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven initiatives and delivering innovative solutions to clients leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead a team of data professionals, oversee the development and implementation of data strategies, and drive the adoption of AI and ML technologies. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Comprehensive Data Strategies: Develop and execute data strategies that align with the company's business objectives and client needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Data Architecture and Engineering: Design and implement robust data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines on GCP.
  • AI and ML: Leverage AI and ML technologies to solve complex business problems, develop predictive models, and automate processes.
  • Generative AI: Explore and implement generative AI solutions, such as natural language processing and image generation, to drive innovation.
  • Client Delivery: Collaborate with client teams to understand their data challenges and deliver tailored solutions, leveraging GCP's capabilities.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and consulting services to clients and internal stakeholders on data-related topics.
  • Technology Adoption: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data technologies and advocate for their adoption within the organisation.

About the Candidate:
  • (Mandatory) 2:1 Degree educated in Computer Science or Technology related degree
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, or a related field, with proven experience in leading and managing data teams
  • Expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and data governance
  • Strong proficiency in AI and ML algorithms and techniques
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise explanations
  • Preferred experience in consulting or professional services with a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data-related services
  • Preferred certifications related to Google Cloud Platform or data science and contributions to open-source data projects or communities
