Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Control Specialist to join our Treasury Chief Investment Office team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Treasury and Chief Investment Office functions.

Our Treasury and Chief Investment Office team is responsible for firm-wide asset and liability management. We manage the firm's capital, balance sheet, liquidity, and funding positions while our Chief Investment Office manages the firm's structural interest rate and foreign exchange risks through various investment and hedging strategies.

As a Product Control Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly financials and regulatory reporting. You will also analyze the firm's FX exposures and non-USD investments in subsidiaries, and prepare instructions for Portfolio Managers to execute trades to hedge these risks.

You will work closely with our Technology team to implement reporting requirements and resolve issues, and build sound analytics and MIS for senior management consumption. You will also oversee various procedures and controls surrounding hedging activities and recommend areas for improvement and streamline processes where appropriate.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include a good understanding of Interest Rate Swaps, FX Swaps, Forwards, Cross Currency Swaps, Fixed Income Instruments, and Long-Term Debt. Prior experience in Product Control or in Big 4 companies is also required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include an educated degree level, ideally having studied finance/accounting/mathematics or other numerate discipline, and accounting or financial qualification will be an added advantage.
