About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a prestigious Primary School in Tower Hamlets. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure students receive tailored support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills, helping them to build confidence and independence.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to ensure students receive the best possible support.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
