About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analyses and account reconciliations.
  • Support the Management Accountant in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and forecast process.
  • Provide input into department's goal setting process.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
Requirements
  • Professional certification AAT (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or similar).
  • Proficiency with accounting software (MS Office / Excel).
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
