Manage and Develop Our QA Team

Rebellion is seeking an experienced QA Manager to oversee and develop the QA approach for all of our products, utilizing strategic thinking and planning. This role is based at our Oxford headquarters, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA leadership team, maintaining morale and enthusiasm.
  • Proactively manage team performance and professional development through performance review cycles.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to direct internal QA resources.
  • Coordinate with external partners across the globe.
  • Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing & QA.
  • Develop strategy for interviews, induction, training, and staff development.
  • Monitor and manage hardware and software for the onsite QA team.

Requirements:

  • A proven background in managing QA teams in video game development.
  • Ability to provide regular direction, mentoring, and coaching to QA team members.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice people management.
  • Understanding of game testing models, bug testing, and tracking software.
  • Deep understanding of the video game development process.
  • Ability to evaluate best course of action using data analysis and creative thinking.
  • Ability to balance resources, skills, priorities, and timescales to achieve objectives.
