What Skills and Experience We're Looking For

Salary: Grade 3, £24,325 - £25.442 per annum, pro rata. (Approximately £18,156 - £18,990 per annum pro rata FTE). This role is a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2025.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about working with young people and is able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will have experience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment and will be able to understand the role of parents and carers, with the ability to relate and build excellent working relationships.

The ideal candidate will be able to observe, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on pupils' progress, promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school, and commit to supporting pupils with special educational needs and contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).

What You Will Do
  • Act as a role model for pupils, support their learning effectively
  • Meet personal needs while promoting independence
  • Commit to supporting pupils with special educational needs and contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
  • Encourage pupil interaction and cooperation, ensuring engagement in activities
  • Support emotional and social needs and accompany pupils on trips
