We are seeking an enthusiastic and newly qualified psychologist to join our established team working across multiple services at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake assessment and therapy with patients with health difficulties across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide specialised advice and consultation on care, therapy, and psychological aspects of physical health to multidisciplinary teams, staff groups, patients and carers.
Essential
- Post-graduate degree in clinical psychology eligible for membership of the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology and for BPS chartered status.
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
Desirable
- Previous training or experience of working within mindfulness and DBT models.
- Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to the client group and mental health.
- Knowledge of IT systems including word processing, email and local electronic patient information systems.
- Ability to self-reflect, use clinical supervision appropriately and consider complex organisational and team dynamics.
