  • Production:
    • Ensure materials, plant, and sub-contractors are procured to meet project targets.

    • Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.
    • Review Health & Safety and investigate incidents, providing summary and recommendations.
    • Carry out periodic inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
    • Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
    • Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business.
    • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
    • Decide on solutions to major issues and challenges.
  • Project Planning:
    • Maintain and develop the overall strategy for the project to ensure successful delivery.
    • Develop plans to achieve specific goals and objectives.
    • Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedules.
    • Monitor the progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all sub-teams.
    • Review project plans with the Contracts Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Liaison with Client and End Users:
    • Manage the aspirations of clients and end-users to ensure their needs are met.
    • Resolve queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop relationships for future winning work and business growth.
    • Report on progress, problems, and information requirements to stakeholders.
  • Administration:
    • Ensure project documents are complete and up-to-date.
    • Set up project systems and review to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Procure IT requirements to support project delivery.
